Fieldwork Management Respondent Recruiting Respondent Validation

RESPONDENT AUDITOR®

The industry's first third-party respondent validation service

Let's face it. Recruiters don't always recruit qualified respondents. And, sadly, respondents don't always tell the truth. We know. We're Aaron-Abrams Field Support Services. For more than 20 years we've been helping qualitative market researchers like you get the quality respondents you need.

We also know you're spending a fortune on respondents. And that you deserve qualified respondents. You also deserve to know if any scheduled respondents aren't qualified. And you deserve to know while recruiting is underway, while there's still time to do something about it.

That's why you need RESPONDENT AUDITOR®. The industry's first unbiased, third-party respondent verification service exclusively for qualitative market researchers. Respondent Auditor takes the confusion and guesswork out of getting quality respondents for your qualitative market research.

How RESPONDENT AUDITOR® works

You supply us with your list of respondents. Our team performs a two-step verification procedure: First, we inspect each respondent to verify that they are who—and what—they say they are. Next, we contact each respondent by telephone and verify their vital screening criteria. We report our findings directly to you. You rest assured knowing that you're getting the quality respondents you need, no matter the source!

How you benefit . . .

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions . . .

Q. What does the RESPONDENT AUDITOR service cost?
A. Your cost starts at just $4.95 per respondent submission.

Q. What makes you qualified to audit respondents?
A. Aaron-Abrams has been recruiting respondents and managing fieldwork for nearly 30 years. Of course, references are available upon request.

Q. Don't focus group facilities rescreen respondents in their lobby prior to the groups?
A. Yes, but that's not the time to learn that you have respondents who don't qualify.

Q. What happens if an inconsistency or potential problem is discovered?
A. That’s up to you. We simply inform you that our verification process revealed a discrepancy or possible red flag.

Q. How do you guard against "professional respondents"?
A. Some professional respondents give themselves away before attending your research. Unfortunately, others don't. Although we are not always able to spot cheaters prior to your research, we can help you identify respondents who are too wise to the research process, or respondents who are being untruthful.

Q. What if a respondent cancels because of your call?
A. There's no reason for a respondent who is told to expect a verification call to cancel unless they were planning to cancel anyway, or were marginally interested to begin with. You pay for respondent recruiting whether respondents show up or not. So weeding these respondents out sooner than later benefits you and your research.

Q. What happens if you're unable to verify a respondent?
A. Respondents who are eager to attend your research know that our call is part of the process. For respondents we can't get in touch with, we let you decide what's next.

Q. Do you add our respondents to your database?
A. No. Nothing would damage our reputation faster. We encourage you to add "plants" to your respondent roster. That way you can audit the professionalism and thoroughness of our services.

Q. Who confirms the respondents?
A. Confirmation activities are the recruiter's territory. When we validate respondents, we don't discuss the specifics of their participation. We respect recruiter/respondent relationships. Our expertise is helping to ensure that respondents are qualified to take part in your research.

Q. Do you offer RESPONDENT AUDITOR services for methodologies other than focus groups?
A. Yes.
